We all know it: Especially our balcony boxes need an extreme amount of water in summer. Here you will find our water storage for balcony boxes products

We have developed innovative solutions for this. With the very good water-storing nonwoven inserts LITE-POT M (4 pcs. each 60 x 12,5 cm), LITE-POT L (3 pcs. each 100 x 12,5 cm) as LITE-POT XL (1 pcs. 85 x 200 cm), excess water is stored on the ground like in a sponge and released back to the plants as needed.

LITE-POT saves on daily watering and simplifies the care of your plants.

The recycled water storage nonwoven can be used several times and stores approx. 12 l/m2.

The addition of LITE-STRIPS is ideal as a water storage at root level, which also loosens up the soil.

Even easier in the combination pack, the HOLIDAY–BAG, which contains 2 LITE-POT nonwoven inserts measuring 60 x 12.5 cm and LITE-STRIPS PP.

Since LITE-STRIPS consist of 90% open, interconnected air pores, they can absorb around 8 times more water per kg than conventional products such as expanded clay (LECA). Also as a biological water storage for plants balcony boxes.

Place the LITE-POT nonwoven insert on the bottom of the balcony box, simply cut to size if necessary. Put a mixture of soil with approx. 5% (vol.) LITE-STRIPS on top.

The bag s sufficient for 2 balcony boxes of 60 cm each.

Mix about 5-10% of the volume of the extremely water-retaining LITE-STRIPS into the soil. Depending on the size of the flower box and whether it is biodegradable (Bio1 and Bio5) or permanent (PP), the following products are available:
