LITE-STRIPS Bio5 are simply mixed into the soil. This means that many water stroages are located directly near the roots. Your plants can access the water more easily and effectively when needed. The LITE-STRIPS Bio5 cannot be overwatered, save water and make the soil more permeable.

LITE-STRIPS Bio5 water storage strips are 100% biodegradable, near-root water storage nonwovens for mixing into the soil or substrate for indoor and outdoor use. This means that the water storage are located directly near the roots and not, for example, at the bottom of the flower pot. Plants can therefore access the water in the irrigation nonwoven much more easily and effectively, for the same reason LITE-STRIPS cannot be doused. 10 l LITE-STRIPS store up to 9 l of water.

Installation

• trees, bushes & shrubs: Mix approx. 10-20 l per pit into the soil near the root ball. LITE-STRIPS Bio5 can be combined very well with the LITE-NET vegetation net.
• RAISED PLANTING BEDS & BOXES: Mix approx. 5-10 % of the volume into the soil. LITE-STRIPS Bio5 LITE-STRIPS Bio5 help plants survive longer dry periods.
• LAWNS, ATHLETIC FIELDS, SOCCER FIELDS, BEDS, VEGETABLE BEDS, SLOPES: Mix approx. 1 l STRIPS Bio5 per m² into the soil layer down to root depth, e.g. with a rake.
• ROOF GREENING Mix approx. 1-2 l LITE- STRIPS Bio 5 per m² into the substrate, depending on the thickness of the structure.
