The LITE-NET Bio5 watering net roll stores and distributes water and air and is 100% biodegradable/compostable. The LITE-NET roll consists of up to 90% open air pores, in which up to 3.3 l of water is stored and, similar to a vein network, is directed to where the plants need it most: to the roots. The LITE-NET watering net roll is simply pulled apart to 4-5 times its width and covered with soil root-deep.

In a study conducted by the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna, it was found that LITE-NET has a greening effect that is approximately 50% higher than coconut mats due to its significantly higher water storage capacity.

Installation instructions

TREES, SHRUBS & BUSHES 
Wrap a suitably cut piece of LITE-NET around the root ball to direct water & air from the surface directly to the roots. As an additional water reservoir, place another piece of LITE-NET horizontally in the tree pit. This ensures that the deep root space is optimally supplied.

SLOPES/VEGETATION
On slopes, LITE-NET is laid on the surface as a vegetation support.

The water net roll LITE-NET Bio5 is made in Austria from 70% polyactide (PLA) 30% cellulose fibres.
